Change of Venue

Quick update - for the immediate future all TNT Newbury gigs will be at the Monument, 57 Northbrook Street, starting with Crawlin' King Snakes and the Blue Flames this Thursday. It may be a little smaller than our previous home but it's full of rock'n'roll atmosphere. And booze. This also means there'll be no entry fee! So get yourselves down there.

September Update

Ladies and gents, TNT are back after a short break (with flagrant disregard for a previous post in which I said we wouldn't be taking a break; all I can say is we're rock'n'roll, we do what we like, we don't follow no stinkin' rules, etc. etc.) with a whole season of live music at the Late Lounge. Thanks to White Sunday for kicking things off in fine style - next up is Godwits, whose filigreed orchestral folk-rock is, basically, fucking fantastic. Don't miss it.

Keep 'em peeled for more news, both here and on the dreaded MySpace.

...and relax

The Newbury Takeover went off without a hitch. Thanks to all the bands, everyone who lent their services, and everyone who came down on the day to dance in the sun and/or rain. We'll have photos up in the gallery soon. (take any photos yourself? Send them to us at photos@tntmusic.co.uk)

While we sort out more damn fine TNT gigs, we recommend you do your best to witness the splendour that is The Wookies on their current run of live dates:

July, July

With the NewburyTakeover festival just a month away, you'd be forgiven for thinking we would take it easy here at TNT, but no! In the run-up to the festival we have four quality-approved, guaranteed rock'n'roll gigs, kicking off with Kicks supported by the Vice.

Next we're proud to be hosting the launch party for Politan's debut album “Explore”; support comes from Daddy's Little Secret. After that it's off to the Oakford Social Club in Reading for Loose Caboose and the Rickys, and finally back to sunny Newbury for the latest Lighthouse under-18s gig: The Wookies and the Enigma Project supported by Shotgun.

And of course, when there's no live music we've got Newbury's biggest indie club night every Thursday at the Late Lounge. After all that you'd be forgiven for thinking we would take August off, but no...
